The goal of this project was to bridge the gap of yearning for new merchandise among the fans of the video game: Totally Accurate Battle Simulator. This project aims to amp up excitement among fans through a new product containing physical merchandise of all their favourite characters! This will be achieved through a merch mystery box containing all sorts of new exciting goodies.
The strategy was to aim for designs that are cutesy, yet stay true to the nature of the game. Create memorable packaging design that generates hype among the online community for the TABS community. Keep it true to the branding of the video game while adding in new elements that will make this product feel refreshing and new.
Everyone loves physical media, but when a franchise doesn't have anything much to offer to the fans, it creates sadness and frustration among users. This project aims to eliminate that user frustration by giving users new and fun merchandise. TABS (Totally Accurate Battle Simulator) used to have merch, but it was limited edition. The people want more!
The solution of this project was quite obvious, make merchandise for the fans in the form of something exciting and worth talking about: a mystery box!
This project stayed true to its main objective: giving the fans of TABS new merchandise to be excited about. It increased relevancy and awareness of the TABS video game and even brought in new fans. It generated tons of hype with its cute, exciting, and visually engaging design
