Ocean Pacific - Love it Again

Ocean Pacific, a once well-known clothing brand in dire need of a new direction. Watch Ocean Pacific come alive again with a new, trendy marketing campaign!

The goal of this project was to ideate a new marketing campaign that successfully advertises a new service that Ocean Pacific wants to sell: buying and selling pre-owned Ocean Pacific clothing. Their new campaign name: 'Love it Again'.

With the growing rise for environmental concern, people yearning to shop more ethically, and a new desire to reject fast fashion and embrace re-usability on social media, Ocean Pacific's 'Love it Again' campaign brings in appropriate visuals that focus on the green and eco-friendly aspect of their new service. Additionally, the visuals are more art-focused, as younger folk are rejecting generative AI and yearn for earnestly human-made work.

Ocean Pacific is incredibly outdated, but still undoubtedly has a really nice charm to their brand, it's what made them stand out in the first place. Additionally, their old advertisements were very vague, loose, and didn't say much about what the brand can provide for its users. Ocean Pacific must be seen in a new light, and needs a new marketing direction to get them in the limelight again. This project aims to create a marketing campaign that gets people interested in OP's products once more!

The solution was to play into the emotional aspect of the marketing campaign as well as put a focus on eliminating the customer pain points that came with buying re-used clothing. Along with that, we had to do research on our target audience to decide when would be the best time to showcase our marketing campaign along with where we'd show it.

The results were a successful marketing campaign that fulfilled its goal of effectively advertising a new, eco-friendly service, and painting Ocean Pacific in a new, modern light (while also remaining true to what made them special to begin with).
